Leadership Clinton County meets with local media, public relations professionals

LOCK HAVEN — The 2025-2026 class of Leadership Clinton County met Friday, Jan. 9 at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center to participate in Media and Public Relations Day.

During the morning session, participants heard from Doug Spatafore, Ronda Mariani, Bryson Purcell and Sarah Smeltz, of Commonwealth University and Liz Arnold, of Abundance Creative & Consulting, LLC. They also received a tour of the university.

After lunch, Albert Jones, of Commonwealth University-Lock Haven, spoke to the group about diversity, equity and inclusion while serving on boards and committees.

Later they heard from Megan Muthler and Laura Jameson of The Express and learned about writing a press release from Christopher Miller, of the Clinton County Economic Partnership.

The group ended the day with a tour of WSQV-FM radio station in downtown Lock Haven.
