Helping Hands cornhole

Helping Hands will be hosting a cornhole tournament Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Lock Haven Moose Lodge. Sign ups will be at 2:30 p.m. Entry fee can be covered by donating hygiene products, laundry care and cleaning supplies. There will be a raffle, 50/50 and the kitchen will be open.

Bellefonte Cash Bingo

Cash Bingo will be held at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, to benefit the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus. Doors will be open to the public for food, plenty of homemade baked goods, dinner items and small games of chance at 6 p.m., with Bingo starting at 7 p.m. The cost to play is $20 for 20 games, and the payouts will be $850 each month. Bingos will be held on the second Monday of each month through June.

Bingo dates are Feb. 9; March 9, April 13, May 11 and June 8.

The school is a smoke-free facility and walk-ins are welcome to come to play Bingo.

Class of 1957

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1957 will meet on the second Saturday of each month at Restless Oaks at 9 a.m. Classmates and guests are welcome.

Cookbook Sale

Laurel Run Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, has created a beautiful family cookbook with many shared and loved recipes. Pot pie dinner

Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will be having a homemade pot pie sale on Feb. 21. The ham pot pie is $10 a quart. To guarantee you get, it’s best to pre-order by calling the church office at 570-726-4112. Leave your name and how many quarts you would like on the answering machine if Pastor Susan isn’t there to take your call. To eliminate the wonder of what to have for dinner, stock up on the freezable quarts of pot pie.
