Class of 1964 luncheon

Association Meeting

The Bellefonte Cemetery Association will hold its annual membership meeting on the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at the Bellefonte Borough building located at 301 N. Spring St. The meeting will be held in the upstairs Borough Council chambers beginning at 6:30 p.m. All those who are interested in the well-being of the cemetery are encouraged to attend the meeting.

Cash Bingo

The Back Porch String Band’s Country Jam will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 2-6 p.m., at the Yearick Center/Howard fire hall. Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday afternoon of each month except in December. The afternoon of music is free, and those attending should bring a snack to share with others there. A hat is passed for you to contribute a few dollars to thank the Howard Fire Company for allowing the folks to gather there for Country Jam each month.

Lenten Fish Fries

Holy Spirit Parish in Lock Haven will continue to offer their annual “Drive-thru” Lenten Fish Fries beginning on Feb. 20 and continuing every Friday during Lent except Good Friday, from 4-6 p.m., on the grounds of the Parish Center at St. Agnes Church. The menu features Haddock (Yuengling beer battered or baked), mac and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and dessert. Meals are $17, and individual sides of fish or mac and cheese will be available. The church invites you to their “Ez Drive Thru” for a delicious meal prepared by its parish family, and thank you for your continued support. Questions? Call the parish office at 570-748-4594.
