Postponed

The Bingo for Scholarships at KBR Bingo Hall, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven (announced for March 1) has been postponed until Sunday, Sept. 20. All advance tickets will be honored. The bingo is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven, with Citizen’s Hose Co. running the kitchen. Mark your calendar now for Sept. 20.

Pot pie dinner

Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will be having a homemade pot pie sale on Feb. 21. The ham pot pie is $10 a quart. To guarantee you get, it’s best to pre-order by calling the church office at 570-726-4112. Leave your name and how many quarts you would like on the answering machine if Pastor Susan isn’t there to take your call. To eliminate the wonder of what to have for dinner, stock up on the freezable quarts of pot pie.

Military Share program

Clinton County Veterans Affairs will have their Military Share distribution on Feb. 19 from 9-11 a.m. at the Castanea Fire Company picnic grounds. Military Share distributions are usually held on the third Thursday of each month. Veterans in need of assistance are encouraged to visit the Veterans Service Office at 217 N. Jay St., Lock Haven, or call 570-893-4339.
