Ash Wednesday Service
Salona United Methodist Church will hold Ash Wednesday Services at 7 p.m. All are welcome.
Cash Bingo
Pleasant Gap Lioness Club Cash Bingo on Sunday, March 1, at the Milesburg Community Center, 101 Mill St. Doors and kitchen open at noon, Bingo starts at 2 p.m. Food, 50/50, basket raffle, rip-offs, etc. $25 for 25 games! For tickets, contact Deb at 814-571-7682, daputt@gmail.
Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
Blood drives will be held as follows:
On Feb. 24, from 12-5:30 p.m., at Watermarke Church, Zion Road, Bellefonte.
On Feb. 27, from 12-4:30 p.m., at the Lock Haven Best Western Hotel, E. Walnut St.
On March 4, from 1-6 p.m., at the Dunnstown Fire Hall.
Country Jam
The Back Porch String Band’s Country Jam will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 2-6 p.m., at the Yearick Center/Howard fire hall. Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday afternoon of each month except in December. The afternoon of music is free, and those attending should bring a snack to share with others there. A hat is passed for you to contribute a few dollars to thank the Howard Fire Company for allowing the folks to gather there for Country Jam each month.

Cookbook Sale
Laurel Run Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, has created a beautiful family cookbook with many shared and loved recipes.
