DePasqua named Lions Club Student of the Month for December

JERSEY SHORE — Jersey Shore Senior High School recently recognized Avery Chole DePasqua, daughter of Phil and Stacie DePasqua, of Bastress/Nippenose Township, as the December Lions Club Student of the Month. Avery has distinguished herself as a dedicated student, athlete and community volunteer, consistently demonstrating leadership and academic excellence.

Throughout high school, Avery has been actively involved in basketball, Pep Club, Student Council and a range of honor societies, including the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and National English Honor Society. She served as vice president of Pep Club during both her junior and senior years, showcasing her leadership and dedication to her peers.

Avery has also contributed significantly to her community. She has volunteered at the Love Center, assisted with church picnics, served as an altar server at her church and worked at a local flower shop.

Academically, Avery has consistently earned a place on the distinguished honor roll each year and has been recognized through her induction into multiple honor societies.

Outside of school and volunteering, Avery enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends, going on walks and relaxing by the pool.

After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in nursing, continuing her commitment to helping and serving others.

Avery’s leadership, community service and dedication to excellence make her a deserving recipient of this honor from the Lions Club.
