MILESBURG — Milesburg Borough Water Authority will have a System‒Wide Water Shutdown on Saturday, Feb. 7, beginning at 8 a.m. This shutdown will affect all customers.

Water operators have found a leak that requires a full system shutdown in order to complete the repair safely. Water service will be shut off on Saturday morning, starting at 8 a.m., and will remain off until the repairs have been completed. There is no estimated completion time, but crews will work to restore service as quickly as possible.

Residents may want to draw a supply of water for consumption before the shut-off happens.

Please note that West Street will be closed at the intersection of Cross and View during the repair work. Please plan alternate routes if you travel through this area of Milesburg.
