This photo from 1898 shows the first class of Mill Hall High School, in 1898. The Mill Hall High School is now the elementary school. Those in the class were: back row, from left, Pearl Chandler, Helen G. Flanigan, Eva Rosser, Annie Chatham, Blanche Irvin and Della Masden; front row, Bertha Watson, Etta Eckley, Maude Hunter, Thomas Rosser, Leone Bartholomew and Effie Hunter. The faculty member in front was Prof. B. J. Bowers. As of 1971, when the photo previously ran in The Express, the photo was owned by Mrs. Helen G. Truckenmiller, of W. Water St., Mill Hall. As of 1971, all of the class was deceased except for Chandler and Flanigan.
