The Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club has again kicked off their campaign to collect stuffed animals for their Annual Bunny Run. This will be the 17th year that the cycle club members have held their Bunny Run collection and distribution of Easter-themed stuffed animals being given to children in hospitals.

Folks are encouraged to donate bunnies, chicks, ducks and lambs (“Easter animals”) to the Bunny Run. The stuffed animals must be new and have the tags left on (in case of allergy concerns).

The Bunny Run collection runs from now until March 25 when the cyclists will collect them from local businesses and deliver the stuffed animals on Palm Sunday to area hospitals for children.

The SVBTMC’s Bunny Run covers hospitals from Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College all the way to Geisinger Children’s Hospital in Danville.

On behalf of the SVBT Club, Brenda Masden told The Express the community has been very supportive of the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins members efforts to collect and distribute the stuffed animals during the Bunny Run.

“The club has collected anywhere from 700 to 900 animals each year for the Bunny Run, and the community’s generous support is again requested for this year’s Bunny Run collection,” Masden said.

Stuffed animals can be dropped off at the SVBT Clubhouse, or at any of these other drop off locations: Woolrich Community Center; The Express office, the Sons of Italy and Momoyo Otsu in Lock Haven; Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall; the Milesburg Lions Club, Drier Law Office and The Moose in Jersey Shore; and the Sun Gazette office, Hope Enterprises, It’s My Party store and Backyard Broadcasting in Williamsport.
