Millbrook Bingo Fundraiser
Millbrook Playhouse will hold its annual fundraiser bingo on Sunday, March 22 at the KBR Bingo Hall. Doors open at 11 a.m. and games begin at 1 p.m. Your $25 ticket includes 20 games of bingo with all cash prizes of $100-plus. Food, raffle basket tickets, 50/50 games and rip tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets can be bought at www.millbrookplayhouse.org, It Is What It Is, from any Millbrook Board member or at the door. Come out to support the 63rd season of live professional theater!
Class of 1961
BEN Class of 1961 will be having their luncheon at Haywood’s on Thursday, March 12, at 11:30 a.m. All classmates and guests invited.
Breakfasts
cancelled
The Farmer’s Breakfast at the Porter Township community building in Lamar on March 7 is being cancelled since a Breakfast Benefit for Ben Stoltzfus is planned for March 21, from 7-11 a.m. The breakfast will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, hashbrowns, biscuits and sausage gravy, toast, fruit cocktail, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The cost of each breakfast is $13 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12 and kids 5 and under eat free.
There will not be a breakfast on April 4 because of the Easter weekend.
SVRCS Senior Socials
SVRCS’s Senior Socials have returned for the 2025-2026 school year. All seniors are welcome to join the second Friday of each month during March and April. The program runs from 12:30-2 p.m. in the gym lobby at 236 E. Main St., Loganton, where the life skills students will greet you and be your hosts! Activities, games, snacks and entertainment will be provided for your enjoyment! Come out and enjoy this special time to fellowship and interact with students. No reservation required. The Wayne Township Recreational Committee is offering their book, “A Township Called Wayne,” for a price of $10. This book will make a nice gift for family and friends, especially historians and those with ties to the Wayne Township community.
