Take Off Pounds Sensibly, “TOPS,” is planning a 25th Anniversary Celebration on Monday, March 23, at 6 p.m., at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St.

No Kings

Protest, Festival this weekend

The No Kings III Protest and Festival will be held on Saturday, March 28, from 12-3 p.m. at Triangle Park. Anyone from any party can join this peaceful protest. We will have extra signs and flags. Let’s make it the biggest one yet!

Easter Dinner

The Lock Haven Regatta Foundation will be holding their Easter Holiday Dinner for seniors on Sunday, March 29. There will be two seatings: 12 and 2 p.m. Take-out meals may be picked up between 2:30-3 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the STEP office at 570-858-5800 by March 25. We need an accurate count to prepare meals. Take-out meals must be signed up for and a ticket for the take-out meals can be picked up at the STEP office.

Happy Travelers’ 2026 Trips

Trips planned for 2026 include the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Williamstown, Ky., for May 11-15; Mackinac Island, Mich., on Sept. 14-19; a Show Trip Extravaganza in Branson, Mo., on Oct. 4-10; and a Holiday Show Trip in Myrtle Beach, S.C., from Nov. 30-Dec. 5. A $75 per person deposit will reserve a seat, with final payment due approximately two months prior to departure. Greyhound Meet and Greet

The Nittany Greyhounds Meet & Greet event occurs every 4th Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petco, 40 Colonnade Way, State College. They will have greyhounds to interact with, including adoptable retired racing greyhounds, and an information table.
