The Bucktail Boys Booster Club held a cornhole tournament at the Renovo Elks Lodge #334 on Saturday afternoon, as camaraderie and some tough competition provided a fun day for all. The room was filled and featured what have become some familiar teammates and opponents in the Renovo cornhole scene. Gordy Newlen and Karl Ruble took first place and Chuck Cross and George Kalafut took second place in the 18-team tournament. Carl Gentzyel got a four-banger for a $50 gift card for the Service Garage, and the afternoon included a quick game on the skinny board, which was won by George Kalafut. All proceeds benefit the Bucktail Boys Booster Club.
