Carrasquillo named Lions Club Student of the Month for January

JERSEY SHORE — Isabell Grace Carrasquillo, daughter of Jason and Sarah Carrasquillo, of Jersey Shore, has been selected as the January 2026 Lions Club Student of the Month at Jersey Shore Area Senior High School. Isabell is recognized for her dedication to academics, extracurricular involvement and career preparation.
Throughout high school, Isabell has been actively engaged in a variety of activities. As a freshman, she participated in softball and contributed to The Paw Print. During her sophomore year, she continued softball and joined FBLA. In her junior year, she expanded her involvement to include Bocce and the National Art Honor Society while remaining active in FBLA and softball. During her senior year, Isabell is involved in FBLA, Bocce, National Art Honor Society and National English Honor Society, where she will be inducted in May.
Isabell has demonstrated leadership within FBLA, serving as Fundraiser Officer during her junior year and Social Media Officer during her senior year. She earned varsity letters in softball during her freshman, sophomore and junior years and earned varsity letters in Bocce during both years she participated.
Outside of school, Isabell works part-time at Tiadaghton Embroidery and is completing a radiology co-op at Geisinger Jersey Shore, gaining valuable hands-on experience in her chosen field. In her free time, she enjoys taking her three dogs on walks, spending time with family and friends, having bonfires and shopping.
After graduation, Isabell plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology to study Radiology. Her strong work ethic, leadership and clear career focus make her a deserving recipient of the January 2026 Lions Club Student of the Month honor.
