CU Commission on LGBTQ Affairs to host fundraiser with RuPaul’s contestant
CASTANEA — The Commonwealth University Commission on LGBTQ Affairs announced Mandy Mango, an 18th season contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race, will appear for a brief show and meet-n-greet on Saturday, April 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Good Neighbor Craft House, 201 Logan Ave., Lock Haven in Castanea.
All proceeds will benefit programs, speakers, student support and events.
Mandy, an Infectious Disease Nurse from Lansdale, Pa., appeared on the long-running reality competition and is now touring the country promoting health and the art of drag. Mandy is a graduate of West Chester University.
The event is $10 each with tickets available at the door and will feature free appetizers and a cash bar. A basket raffle will be held, too.
