BELLEFONTE — Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous Bellefonte couple, all monetary donations collected for the FaithCentre Food Bank during the month of March will be matched up to a total of $6,000.

“Through this act of generosity, the FaithCentre can double gifts made during these 31 days. A donation, whatever the size, can have a profound impact on our ability to meet the food assistance needs of our most vulnerable neighbors and their companion animals,” according to a press release from FaithCentre.

To take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to help those the FaithCentre Food Bank serves, simply mail a check with “matching gift” noted in the memo or visit www.faithcentre.info, click on donate, and select the matching gift option.

Each year, through the kindness of our neighbors, the FaithCentre Food Bank distributes over $250,000 worth of free food — greatly reducing food insecurity in our community.

“We very much appreciate your support and ask that you consider this unique way to magnify your gift’s influence,” the release said.
