JERSEY SHORE — The American Legion Riders Chapter 36 will be holding a Fallen Soldier Scholarship Ride on Sunday, May 17.

The event, held in memory of Lance Corporal Abe Howard, will start and end at the Jersey Shore American Legion, 320 Seminary St., Jersey Shore.

Registration will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with kick stands up at noon. Cost is $15 for a rider or passenger and $5 entry for dice.

A meal will be planned at the end of the ride with gun raffle tickets, 50/50 drawing and merchandise for sale.

According to a release from the riders, this is a non-guided ride for participants to ride at their leisure. Plan to ride where you wish according to your comfort and skill level.

The public is welcome to purchase a meal ticket at the end of the ride for $10. Breakfast sandwiches will also be available for $5.
