Spaghetti dinner

St. Luke Catholic Church would like to invite you to their annual all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner on Wednesday, April 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. The dinner consists of spaghetti, with two homemade meatballs, tossed salad, Italian bread, a beverage and dessert. Takeout available during serving hours. Tickets are $12 for adults; $5 for children 6-12; children under 6 are free.

Class Luncheon

LHHS Class of 1952 will hold a luncheon on April 15 at 12 p.m. at Restless Oaks. All classmates and guests are invited!

Greyhound Meet and Greet

The Nittany Greyhounds Meet & Greet event occurs every 4th Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petco, 40 Colonnade Way, State College. They will have greyhounds to interact with, including adoptable retired racing greyhounds, and an information table. Easy Does It

Dealing with an addict in your life? Come and talk with others who are going through the same things you are. The Easy Does It Al-Anon group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the small Sunday school room of Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, Mill Hall. (A.A. meets in the big room at the same time.) Drop-ins are welcome.

Training programs

Roads to Peace offers customizable, age appropriate prevention education programs for all age groups. Programs include but are not limited to: domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, people with disabilities abuse, medical screening, traumatic brain injury, workplace violence, sexual harassment, sexual coercion, dating violence, healthy relationships, bullying, stranger danger, three kinds of touches and human trafficking. Help Helping Hands Help Others

Helping Hands at United Lutheran Church is a non profit program that helps low income families and senior citizens with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, laundry care, cleaning items and more. They are located at the United Lutheran Church in Lock Have, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken. They are asking for donations to keep the doors open. Any questions, please feel free to call Kelly Olmstead at 272-209-5912. Donations of any items (or financial support for us to buy items) will be a tremendous help for the program.
