Holy Moments
In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026, Mike Palischak has decided to do another Holy Moments in History lecture. The lecture will be on Wednesday, April 15, at 10 a.m., at the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall. Palischak has chosen his topic to be about the Father of our Country, George Washington, and the battle for New York in 1776.
Palischak will share with his listeners about how the British had sent their fighting forces to crush Washington and his army, trying to put an end to the American cause for Independence. Washington prevailed, and America continues to enjoy Freedom today!
Don’t miss this free, historical moment in history as we celebrate the inspiration our forefathers had and the events that led to the foundation of Independence for the United States of America.
A resolution
Would becoming a Shoe Bank volunteer fit in with any of your New Year’s resolutions? The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank is usually open one Saturday a month, when we have the fun of giving free new shoes to kids and teens. We are looking for more volunteers, including people we can call when we are shorthanded. If you’d like to volunteer or have questions, please text or call Wendy at 570-295-3443.
