Scholarship offered

All 2026 graduating high school seniors living in Flemington Borough who are planning to continue their education after graduation can apply for a scholarship being offered by the Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee. Applications and guidelines are available by calling 570-772-5558, 570-660-7431 or 570-748-6694. Leave a message and a return call will be made to arrange delivery of an application and guidelines. Application deadline is Friday, May 22. Winning applicants will be notified by Tuesday, May 26.

America250PA Walk/Run

Wayne Township will host an America250PA 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 30, at Katie’s Crossing on the Bald Eagle Valley Trail. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race kicking off at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 to participate. Those who sign up before May 1 will receive a free T-shirt. Registration may be completed by visiting runsignup.com. This event is sponsored by the Wayne Township supervisors and recreation committee.

Class of LHHS/ICHS 1955

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1955 will have their monthly get together on Wednesday, April 29, at 12 p.m. at Brown’s Hill Tavern. All classmates and their guests are invited.
