Fundraiser

A Cash Bingo Fundraiser for Stephanie Mills is scheduled for July 18 at KBR Bingo and More, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven. Tickets cost $20 with doors opening at 11 a.m. and Bingo starting at 1 p.m. The event will feature a 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction, raffles and food. Class of 1957

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1957 will meet on the second Saturday of each month at Restless Oaks at 9 a.m. Classmates and guests are welcome.

Country Jam

The Back Porch String Band’s Country Jam will be held on Sunday, April 26, from 2-6 p.m., at the Yearick Center/Howard fire hall. Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday afternoon of each month except in December. The afternoon of music is free, and those attending should bring a snack to share with others there. A hat is passed for you to contribute a few dollars to thank the Howard Fire Company for allowing the folks to gather there for Country Jam each month.

The Wayne Township Recreational Committee is offering their book, “A Township Called Wayne,” for a price of $10. This book will make a nice gift for family and friends, especially historians and those with ties to the Wayne Township community.
