HOWARD — Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will be open on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, 551 Hunter Run Road, Howard. Gently used, good quality clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family are available. Sizes range from infants to 3X and are priced at $5 per bag full. Bags will be provided.

Other sale dates for the season are: Saturday, June 13, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Bossert Chiropractic in Beech Creek, weather permitting; Saturday, July 18, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Faith Chapel UMC in conjunction with the annual Roger White Fun Fair; Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Runville UMC, 1216 Runville Road, Bellefonte; Saturday, Aug. 8, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Friendship Community Center, Beech Creek; Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Advanced Family Chiropractic in Mill Hall, weather permitting; and Saturday, Oct. 24, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Faith Chapel UMC.

Bargains and Blessings Community Closet is an outreach ministry of Faith Chapel UMC that serves Beech Creek, Blanchard, Howard and the surrounding areas. All proceeds go back into the community to help families in need or local charitable organizations.
