Thursday, April 16
— Jersey Shore Area Joint Water Authority will be testing and flushing water hydrants through April 22. The work will be done between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please visit www.jerseyshorewater.com for more info.

— Clinton County Veterans Affairs MilitaryShare distribution is from 9-11 a.m. at the Castanea Fire Co. picnic grounds. For more info call the CCVA office at 570-893-4339.
Military Share distribution is scheduled for the third Thursday of each month from 9-11 a.m.
— Milesburg Lions Bingo every Thursday night at the Milesburg Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.
— Lion Country Line Dancing at Brass 16823, 2042 Axemann Road, Bellefonte, 7-10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, April 17
— Old School Market, former Rote Elementary, at East End Mountain Road, Mill Hall, is open each Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beginning at 4 p.m. there will be a misc. merchandise auction followed by a small animals and hay auction beginning at 6 p.m.
— KBR Bingo and More’s straight line Bingo each Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Regular game payouts are $50! Come join the fun! KBR Bingo is located in the Piper Museum Building with elevator service to the 3rd floor Bingo hall. Call Deb at 570-660-2647 for info.
Saturday, April 18
— Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club is having a breakfast benefit from 7-11 a.m. The all you can eat, hardy breakfast is just $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12 years. Younger kiddos get to eat free. This month the basket raffle benefit proceeds will go to help Heidi’s Furry Friends Rescue, Inc. Baskets are needed to raise funds to help the animals this month. Proceeds from the 50/50 raffle, the basket raffle and the special door prizes will help to cover veterinary bills, emergency medical care, food, litter and other animal rescue expenses. Call Heidi’s Furry Friends at 570-971-6994 to donate a basket or baskets can also be dropped off at the SVBTM Clubhouse before the event. — Logan Grange in Pleasant Gap will have a soup sale from 10 a.m. until sold out. Chicken corn noodle, stuffed pepper soup and ham pot pie will be sold for $9 per quart. Call Kris at 814-360-5756 to pre-order to be sure you get some. Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged to come early to get while supplies last.
— KBR Bingo benefit to help Timmy Bitner Racing. Doors open at 11 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m. In addition to Bingo and good food, there will be a basket raffle, 50/50, rip tickets and more! — Sugar Valley Fire Company’s Seafood Buffet Dinner served from 3-6:30 p.m. at the fire station. The all you can eat buffet will be $25 for adults and $13 for children ages 6-12. Younger ones get to eat free. This will be the last Seafood Dinner at the fire station until later this fall. There are two lines so you don’t have to wait long and the meals are offered by both sit down eating and take-outs. The menu features Boom-boom shrimp, Old Bay seasoned and breaded shrimp, scallops, lemon pepper and battered fish, clam strips, stewed tomatoes, mac and cheese, fries, chicken fingers and coleslaw.
— Porter Township Heritage Days committee is having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Ben Stoltzfus and his family on April 18 at the Porter Twp. Community Building, 216 Spring Run Road in Mill Hall. The spaghetti, meatballs, salad, roll, dessert and drink meal will be $10 for adults; $7 for those ages 7-12 and free for younger ones. Dine-in meals will be served from 4-7 p.m. with take-outs available starting at 3 p.m. A raffle is also planned. Volunteers are needed to help! Call Linda at 570-295-1052 for info.
— Clothing for the Community at Bald Eagle Area High School, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Clothing, shoes and accessories free of charge. Call Heather at 814-769-0523 for info or to volunteer.
— Join with the Friends of R. B. Winter State Park for the Annual Spring Clean-Up of Route 192! This year’s Spring Clean-Up will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. After the clean-up the Friends will provide lunch to the volunteers. In the event of rain, the clean-up will be rescheduled for Saturday, May 16. Volunteers should meet at the Environmental Learning Center at 9 a.m. and we’ll then divide into groups for the cleanup!
