— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.
Tuesday, April 28
— Red Cross Blood Drive, 12-5:30 p.m., at Watermarke Church, Zion Road, Bellefonte.
Wednesday, April 29
— Clinton County Carnival at Flemington Fire Company grounds, 5-9 p.m. Carnival rides, games, food vendors and more.
— LHHS and ICHS Class of 1955 will have their monthly get together at 12 p.m. at Brown’s Hill Tavern. All classmates and their guests are invited.
— Red Cross Blood Drive, 1-6 p.m., at the Lock Haven University Rec. Center.
Thursday, April 30

Friday, May 1
— Howard community wide Yard Sale
— St. Luke’s United Church of Christ at 1175 W. Fourth St., Flemington, will be holding a large, indoor Yard and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bake sale will feature yummy cakes, cookies and other mouth watering foods. Lunch will be served and may be eaten in or taken out. For lunch will be vegetable beef soup, hot dogs, chili dogs, kraut dogs and hamburger barbecues. Soup can also be bought to take home for $8 a quart.

— Centre Hall Fire Company’s First Friday of the Month Bingo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Early Bird games begin at 6:30 p.m. and regular Bingo starts at 7 p.m. This month the fire company will be helping the HOPE Fund of Penns Valley as their bonus organization. For every Early Bird packet sold, $2 will be donated to the HOPE Fund. Also, proceeds from the basket raffle table will also be donated to the HOPE Fund. This will be the last Friday night Bingo until October.
— KBR Bingo and More’s straight line Bingo each Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Regular game payouts are $50! Come join the fun! KBR Bingo is located in the Piper Museum Building with elevator service to the 3rd floor Bingo hall. Call Deb at 570-660-2647 for info.
— Civil War Weekend in Centre County, continuing through May 3. Civil War Weekend is an educational initiative depicting the causes, experiences and lasting impact of the American Civil War. Led by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association, the weekend aims to deepen understanding of the pivotal Civil War era in United States history.
Events begin this afternoon, with speakers, book sales, live artillery and infantry demonstrations and cemetery tours scheduled throughout the weekend. — Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association of Rosecrans will have their annual meeting on Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m., at the Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, 4561 Long Run Road, Loganton. All lot owners and those interested in the cemetery’s wellbeing are asked to attend.
