BLANCHARD — The community is invited to take part in a chicken barbeque fundraiser for Kristy Dolan on Sunday, May 3, at the Blanchard Church of Christ.

After nearly seven months in the hospital — much of that time spent in bed — two heart transplants, complications that affected her kidneys and required ongoing dialysis and several weeks of intensive physical and occupational therapy… she is finally home!

While challenges will continue, they will now be faced at home as she works hard to regain her strength and stamina.

Kristy will continue to face months of rehabilitation and medical expenses, including travel for appointments, treatments, dialysis and therapy. We want to continue rallying around this beautiful family to help ease the stress that comes with such significant medical needs.
