Conservation district offers orders for left over trees following sale

MILL HALL — The Clinton County Conservation District has leftover trees/shrubs (seedlings) and apple trees from the tree sale this year.

The district will be taking orders through walk-ins or by phone during business hours until supplies run out. Business hours are 8 a.m, to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The conservation district seedlings available this year for a bundle of five, of the same species, for $15, plus tax, include: White Flowering Dogwood, Eastern Red Bud, New Jersey Tea, Persimmons, Black Willow, Eastern Red Cedar, Ninebark, American Elderberry, Buttonbush, and Arborvitae.

Apple Trees in a bundle of two, one HoneyCrisp and one Gala cost $45, plus tax. These apple trees are all approximately 4-6 feet tall.

Plant pickup will be at the Clinton County Conservation District office, 45 Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall.
