LOCK HAVEN — Haven Performing Arts Ensemble performers have been having a great Tournament Indoor Association competition season this year. The five teams are now gearing up for Chapters this coming weekend, and will leave for Wildwood, N.J., next Wednesday, April 29, to attend the Championships.

This past weekend, the teams traveled to Johnstown and came home victorious.

The Cadet Twirl team earned a rating of Silver from their performance.

The Junior Twirl team scored a 76.79 which was a 4-point increase from their last competition and are currently ranked fourth overall.

The Novice Twirl team scored an 89.23 and are currently ranked first overall.

The Junior Dance team broke the 90-point mark and scored a 90.24 putting them in first overall.

And finally, the Regional A Dance Team scored an 87.74 leaving them in second place overall, but only trailing the first place team by 1.27 points.

Johnstown also holds a spin off where twirlers compete against one another to see how many spins they can do in one toss and still catch the baton. Haven’s very own coach, Halie Engel, won the spin off by completing a five spin!

On Sunday, April 26, all Region 4 performers will travel to Bellefonte High School for Chapters before heading to Wildwood, N.J., next week.

The competition will start at 1 p.m. If you would like the chance to see all of these amazing kids, come check it out! Haven would like to extend good luck wishes to all the teams who will be competing.

Starting at $3.69/week.
