Local U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War

PHOTOS PROVIDED

These photos are of George W. Gray when he was in the U.S. Army stationed in Vietnam during the war. He served from July 1966 to June 1967 until he was honorably discharged, having been “in country” the entire time, trekking through the jungle, digging bunkers, calling in radio air strikes and being around agent orange spraying. Thankfully, he survived and after returning to the U.S. and Pennsylvania, he enlisted in the Penn State Police, where he was a trooper for 25 years until retiring. He would have turned 80 years old on April 18, but passed away four years ago on Feb. 2, 2022. He was the loving husband of Cindy Gray, of Woolrich, for 47 years.

Starting at $3.69/week.
