Lions Club Bingo
The Sugar Valley Lions Club will be having Bingo on May 8 at 55 Sportsman Rd., Loganton. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for 20 games and will be available at the door. Rip-off tickets and 50/50 tickets are also available for purchase. Cookbook Sale
Laurel Run Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, has created a beautiful family cookbook with many shared and loved recipes. It works across the nine counties in the PA Wilds region and has partnered with Branchhead Consulting and the Lenfest Institute for Journalism for this research. St. Paul Food Pantry
St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. No documentation is required. You may call the church at 570-748-7932 or 570-726-7460. People may call these numbers at any time for any type of assistance they may need.
Help Helping Hands Help Others
Helping Hands at United Lutheran Church is a non profit program that helps low income families and senior citizens with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, laundry care, cleaning items and more. They are located at the United Lutheran Church in Lock Haven, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken. They are asking for donations to keep the doors open. Any questions, please feel free to call Kelly Olmstead at 272-209-5912. Donations of any items (or financial support for us to buy items) will be a tremendous help for the program.
