Clinton County Genealogical Society Meeting for May 12 has been rescheduled for June 9 at 7 p.m.. Nancy McCurdy of the Lycoming County Genealogical Society will present DNA results: How they relate to your genealogy and how to use them in your research. Nancy requests that your questions be sent to her prior to the meeting if possible. Please email any questions to ccgensoc.1998@gmail.com. Presentations are open to the public and you do not need to be a member to attend. Meeting and presentation will take place at the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., Lock Haven.

Woolrich Yard Sales

The Annual Woolrich Yard Sales, along with surrounding areas, will be on Saturday, May 16, rain or shine. Come to find bargains and treasures. Please be safe and aware as you drive through the communities and remember to follow all traffic laws.

Class of 1957

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1957 will meet on the second Saturday of each month at Restless Oaks at 9 a.m. Classmates and guests are welcome.

Class of 1959

The Lock Haven High School and Immaculate Conception High School Classes of 1959 will hold a luncheon on May 20 at 12 p.m. at Brown’s Hill Tavern, near Interstate 80 at Lamar. All classmates and guests are welcome.

Friday Bingos cancelled

KBR Bingo and More will not be holding their Friday night Bingo during the summer months.

The Friday night Bingos will resume in September, with the first date being announced well beforehand.

In the meantime, you’re welcome to join players on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. for special benefit Bingos to help individuals and groups in our community.

Bingo Fundraiser

A Cash Bingo Fundraiser for Stephanie Mills is scheduled for July 18 at KBR Bingo and More, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven. Tickets cost $20 with doors opening at 11 a.m. and Bingo starting at 1 p.m. The event will feature a 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction, raffles and food. Ham and Turkey Dinner

Immaculate Conception Parish Center, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport, off Route 654, will have a Country-style Ham and Turkey Dinner on Sunday, May 17, from noon to 5 p.m.

The meal includes turkey and ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, noodles, gravy, corn, salad, homemade bread, cakes, coffee, tea and water.

The price is $14 for those age 13 and older; $6 for children ages 4-12 and those three and younger get to eat free. Takeout meals are also available after 1 p.m.
