60th reunion

The Bald Eagle Area High School Class of ’66 will celebrate its 60th reunion on July 25, 2026. All class members and a guest are invited to attend. For details and RSVP information, please call 814-353-0373 (leave a message). Reservations must be received by June 26.

America250PA Walk/Run

Wayne Township will host an America250PA 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 30, at Katie’s Crossing on the Bald Eagle Valley Trail. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race kicking off at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 to participate. Registration may be completed by visiting runsignup.com. This event is sponsored by the Wayne Township supervisors and recreation committee.

St. Paul Food Pantry

St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. No documentation is required. You may call the church at 570-748-7932 or 570-726-7460. People may call these numbers at any time for any type of assistance they may need.

Garden Club

Join the Dogwood Circle as they celebrate the 250th celebration of our country. The club is looking forward to another exciting and colorful season and the opportunity to recognize and acknowledge the pride and commitment of local gardeners.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands will be open on Wednesday, May 20, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the Lock Haven and surrounding area. Helping Hands is usually open the third Wednesday of each month. For more information about the Helping Hands program, call Kelly at 272-209-5912.

Benefit Bingos

KBR Bingo and More will be hosting benefit Bingos to help individuals and clubs or organizations in our community. Come play Bingo and help to support those in need.

On May 9, the Bingo will help Rylie

Tickets are now available for the May 30 Bingo benefit to help David Stoltzfus after losing his family and home in the April 19 fire near Rote.

Basket donations are needed for each of the benefits!
