Yard sale

There will be a yard sale at 601 Gravel Hill Road, Lock Haven, Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Nominate June Garden of the Month

Dogwood Circle Garden Club will be accepting nominations for their June Garden of the month winner. Submit your nomination by Facebook or by calling Barbara, at 570-660-5755, who will be the judge for the June award.

Gardens are judged for color, variety, neatness, curb appeal and must be viewable from a public road or alley.

Class luncheon

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1955 will have their monthly luncheon at Haywood’s in Lock Haven on May 27 at noon. All class members and their guests are invited.

Class of 1964

Lock Haven High School and Immaculate Conception High School Classes of 1964 will hold their monthly luncheon on Thursday, May 22, at 1 p.m., at The Venture Inn. All class members and friends are invited. Call Donna Barton at 570-748-6821 to make your reservations.

Ham and Turkey Dinner

Immaculate Conception Parish Center, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport, off Route 654, will have a Country-style Ham and Turkey Dinner on Sunday, May 17, from noon to 5 p.m.

The meal includes turkey and ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, noodles, gravy, corn, salad, homemade bread, cakes, coffee, tea and water.

The price is $14 for those age 13 and older; $6 for children ages 4-12 and those three and younger get to eat free. Takeout meals are also available after 1 p.m.

Friendship Community Library

The FCL in Beech Creek is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 3-7 p.m. The Library is a division of the Annie Halenbake Ross Library and has an updated collection of books for loan, a variety of programs and tech support.
