Flags of Honor

Bring a lawn chair and sit with the Flags of Honor in Triangle Park, Lock Haven, for a ceremony at noon Sunday, May 24. The program features Scouts, National Guard, speakers, music and a free small flag for America’s 250th.

Date Changed

Blanchard Church of Christ will have their Food Pantry open on June 3. Normally the food distribution would be on June 10, but because the church is having Vacation Bible School during the week, the distribution date has been moved to June 3, from 3-5 p.m. at the church. Walk with Me Centre County

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania will host its sixth annual “Walk with Me Centre County” at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Penn’s Prairie Park, 2400 Upper Brush Valley Road. The community is invited to walk, stroll or wheel a one-mile course in support of individuals living with disabilities. Proceeds benefit Easterseals programs, including services at its Child Development Center in State College.
