Monday, May 11
— Blood Drive, 1-6 p.m., at Tri County N/C Church in Mill Hall.
— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.
— Cash Bingo will be held at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, to benefit the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus. Doors will be open to the public for food, plenty of homemade baked goods and dinner items, and small games of chance at 6 p.m., with Bingo starting at 7 p.m. The cost to play is $20 for 20 games, and the payouts will be $850 each month. The school is a smoke-free facility and walk-ins are welcome to come to play Bingo.
Tuesday, May 12
— Friends of the Bald Eagle Valley Trail meeting, 7 p.m., at the Clinton County Government Building. You don’t need to be a member to attend. Come out and see what we’re about, what we do and perhaps you’d be interested in joining the group. Contact Mark Weaver, BEVT President, for more info or visit their Facebook page.
— Bellefonte Area School Board meeting, 7 p.m., at the Bellefonte Area Middle School cafeteria
— The Alzheimer’s and Caregivers’ Support Group will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. There is convenient parking next to the church and a handicapped accessible entrance. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or other diseases with accompanying memory loss is often difficult and challenging. The meeting will be a time of sharing caregiving concerns with other caregivers.
Sitter service can be provided to the person with memory loss at the church while caregivers are attending the meeting. Prior arrangements must be made for this service. Educational materials from the Alzheimer’s Association will also be provided

Wednesday, May 13
— St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 9-11 a.m. No documentation is required. You may call the church at 570-748-7932 or 570-726-7460. People may call these numbers at any time for any type of assistance they may need.
— Marion Township Supervisors meeting, 6:30 p.m., at the township building in Jacksonville.
Thursday, May 14
— Blood Drive, 12-5:30 p.m., at the American Philatelic Society in Bellefonte.
— Howard Area Lions Bingo, 6:30 p.m., at the Beech Creek Fire social hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bingo players should bring $5 worth of candy to get $5 off their Bingo purchase. The candy should be individually wrapped and no chocolate! The Lions will use the candy to throw to spectators at the Memorial Day parade in Beech Creek.
— Milesburg Lions Bingo every Thursday night at the Milesburg Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.
— Indoor yard sale preview from 5-7 p.m. at the Poorman Gallery with a special “Preview Night/Wine & Cheese” for a small fee.
— BEN Class of 1961 monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at Haywood’s on The Green in Mill Hall. Final plans for the 65th reunion will be made. All classmates and guests are invited.
Friday, May 15
— Indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Poorman Gallery. Vintage clothing, household items, collectibles, tools, lamps, decor, picture frames, vintage sewing machines and much more will be for sale!
— Old School Market, former Rote Elementary, at East End Mountain Road, Mill Hall, is open each Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (put in more weeks ahead, check the schedule for other info happening in the evening.)
Saturday, May 16
— Indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Poorman Gallery. Vintage clothing, household items, collectibles, tools, lamps, decor, picture frames, vintage sewing machines and much more will be for sale!
— Woolrich Yard Sales, along with surrounding areas, will be held rain or shine. Come to find bargains and treasures. Please be safe and aware as you drive through the communities and remember to follow all traffic laws.
— Centre Hall Fire Company’s Gun Drawing. (need time yet)
— A Bingo fundraiser benefiting the A/337 Forward Support Co., PA Army National Guard Soldier and Family Readiness Group will be held today at the Piper Museum to support soldiers and their families. Doors open at 11 a.m., with bingo beginning at 1 p.m. The event will also feature a Chinese auction, RIP tickets, 50/50 drawings, four special games, prizes and food. There are 300 seats available. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The event is handicap accessible. The fundraiser will take place on the third floor of the Piper Museum, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven.
