— St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 9-11 a.m. No documentation is required. You may call the church at 570-748-7932 or 570-726-7460. People may call these numbers at any time for any type of assistance they may need.
— LHHS and ICHS Class of 1955 will have their monthly luncheon at Haywood’s in Lock Haven at noon. All class members and their guests are invited.
— The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Admissions Office will host a Major Showcase Day from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event, which will include a behind-the-scenes look at program faculty and current students in exploratory studies at Lock Haven, will begin at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center, first floor, 10 Susquehanna Ave.
— Rote United Methodist Church, 102 Beagle Road, Mill Hall, will be showing The Sound of Freedom, a story on human trafficking, at 7 p.m. Snacks and water will be available. Come to watch the movie and to learn more about how you can help prevent this from happening in your neighborhood.
— The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, in collaboration with Local Historia LLC, Schlow Centre Region Library, Centre County Historical Society and Museum, Centre County Library & Historical Museum and the Daughters of the American Revolution, is proud to announce the soft premiere of “Graves on Indian Lane,” a locally produced documentary highlighting Centre County’s rich and often overlooked historical narratives. The film will debut through a free public screening at 6:30 p.m. at Schlow Centre Region Library in State College.

— Hammermill “office girls” reunion luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Haywoods on the Green in Mill Hall.
— Milesburg Lions Bingo every Thursday night at the Milesburg Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.
— Howard Area Lions Bingo, 6:30 p.m., at the Beech Creek Fire social hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. This will be the last evening of Lions Bingo until September.

— Antes Fort Community Yard Sales
— Antes Fort Methodist Church, corner of Fourth and Main Streets, Antes Fort, will have an Indoor Yard Sale / Food Sale beginning at 7 a.m. Food Items include baked goods, hot dogs, kraut dogs, chili dogs, mac and cheese, breakfast sandwiches and Mr. Sticky’s sticky buns. Proceeds will support local ministries
— A basket raffle benefit will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. The benefit is being held for Marvin Young and his family. Marvin lives in (rural) Beech Creek and severely hurt his arm in an RTV accident a few months ago. He has had surgeries on his arm and hasn’t been able to work since the accident happened. Donations of raffle baskets and gift cards are needed for the event.
— Wayne Township will host an America250PA 5K Walk/Run at Katie’s Crossing on the Bald Eagle Valley Trail. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race kicking off at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 to participate. Registration may be completed by visiting runsignup.com. This event is sponsored by the Wayne Township supervisors and recreation committee.
— Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., will host Michael Booth in concert at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Thanks to Michael’s father’s legacy, Gospel music was a large part of his life. Michael is a masterful communicator and uses his ministry to weave music, his testimony, truths and humor together to please all ages. The concert is free, with a love offering taken.
— Truck/Tractor Extravaganza at Clinton County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9 a.m. Featuring truck and tractor pulls ($10 admission for those 13 and older), Craft and Yard Sale, Raffle with more than 130 prizes, food trucks, kids activities and more!
