— Blood Drive, 12-4:30 p.m., at the Lock Haven American Legion Post 131.
— Mill Hall Borough will hold its community wide yard sales
— Old School Market, former Rote Elementary at East End Mountain Road in Mill Hall, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday.
— Titan Market, indoors at the former Cerro building, Axeman Road, Bellefonte, will be open every Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
— Clinton County Arts Council’s juried photography show opens with a reception at 6 p.m. at the Station Gallery. The exhibit, Stillness and Motion, is free to attend. The public is invited to attend to see the show, have refreshments, meet the photographers and vote in the People’s Choice contest.
TOMORROW
— Mill Hall Borough will hold its community wide yard sales
— Antes Fort Community Yard Sales
— Antes Fort Methodist Church, corner of Fourth and Main Streets, Antes Fort, will have an Indoor Yard Sale / Food Sale beginning at 7 a.m. Food Items include baked goods, hot dogs, kraut dogs, chili dogs, mac and cheese, breakfast sandwiches and Mr. Sticky’s sticky buns. Proceeds will support local ministries
— A basket raffle benefit will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. The benefit is being held for Marvin Young and his family. Marvin lives in (rural) Beech Creek and severely hurt his arm in an RTV accident a few months ago. He has had surgeries on his arm and hasn’t been able to work since the accident happened. Donations of raffle baskets and gift cards are needed for the event.
— Wayne Township will host an America250PA 5K Walk/Run at Katie’s Crossing on the Bald Eagle Valley Trail. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race kicking off at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 to participate. Registration may be completed by visiting runsignup.com. This event is sponsored by the Wayne Township supervisors and recreation committee.
— KBR Bingo & More will be hosting a benefit Bingo at the Bingo hall in the Piper Museum, Lock Haven for David Stoltzfus, the Amish man who lost his family and home in April. There will also be a BBQ Chicken meal and other food options like hot dogs, sloppy Joe’s, homemade pies, cupcakes, whoopee pies and more to choose from. The Bingo hall is on the 3rd floor with elevator access. Doors open at 11 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m. There’s also 50/50 and rip tickets along with a basket raffle to help raise funds. — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., will host Michael Booth in concert at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Thanks to Michael’s father’s legacy, Gospel music was a large part of his life. Michael is a masterful communicator and uses his ministry to weave music, his testimony, truths and humor together to please all ages. The concert is free, with a love offering taken.
— Truck/Tractor Extravaganza at Clinton County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9 a.m. Featuring truck and tractor pulls ($10 admission for those 13 and older), Craft and Yard Sale, Raffle with more than 130 prizes, food trucks, kids activities and more! — The Northeast Fishery Center will hold its annual Catch-And-Release event for children ages 12 and younger from 9 a.m. to noon at 308 Washington Ave., Lamar. Kids can try fishing with the help of friendly staff and volunteers, view electro-fishing demonstrations and create fish-print art. A parent/guardian is expected to accompany their children. — Howard Hawks Baseball will have a Chicken BBQ (by Tiny) on Saturday, May 30. The meal will be $15 and includes macaroni salad, baked beans and a roll. Pickup is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Howard VFW. (while supplies last.)
— Milesburg Museum and Historical Society’s free movie night. Movie starts at 8 p.m. The museum is located at 205 Market St., Milesburg. Come early for fellowship time.
SUNDAY
— The public is invited to a Fishers of Men Gospel show, 9 a.m., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 10 W. Main St., Loganton.
— Truck/Tractor Extravaganza at Clinton County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9 a.m. Featuring truck and tractor pulls ($10 admission to pulls for those 13 and older), Craft and Yard Sale, Raffle with more than 130 prizes, Cornhole Tournament at 1 p.m., food trucks, kids Dunk Tank and barrel train rides and more! Colette is currently taking chemo treatments in State College and the travel expenses and other related costs are really adding up, so this benefit will help Colette. MONDAY
— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.
— Howard Area Lions Food Distribution, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the former Beech Creek Elementary School. Farmer’s market vouchers will be handed out to Centre County residents at this distribution. Uncertain when Clinton County Farmer’s Market vouchers may be received. Bring a sturdy box (or boxes) with you for future use and any empty egg cartons that you may have.
TUESDAY
— Milesburg Food Bank is open from 1-3 p.m. This food distribution is held the first Tuesday of each month at the Milesburg Presbyterian Church.
— Howard Area Lions Club’s dinner meeting will be held at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Snow Shoe Lions have been invited to attend.
— The Central PA Civil War Round Table will meet in the Activities Room of the South Hills School of Business & Technology, 480 Waupelani Drive, State College, beginning at 7 p.m.
The featured speaker will be Mr. Dan Masters on “Pennsylvania at the Battle of Stones River.” Mr. Masters lives in Perrysburg, Ohio, and is a graduate of the University of Toledo. He is a descendant of five Union veterans of the Civil War and has written 15 books. His most recent book, Hell by the Acre: A Narrative History of the Stones River Campaign, won both the Richard B. Harwell Award from the Atlanta Civil War Round Table and the Hugh G. Earnhart Award from the Mahoning Valley Civil War Round Table.

— The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, will be meeting from 1-3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The group will be celebrating the “Sixties” with a variety of 1960’s themed activities including a “Walk Down Memory Lane” with a display of artifacts from that era, music and dances from the decade, a tie dyed craft, 60s trivia and reminiscing and even 60’s BINGO. Refreshments will include food that was popular during that time.
