MILL HALL — Three Central Mountain High School students are heading to Georgia as part of SkillsUSA’s national competitions.
SkillsUSA participants Alaina Carnahan, Leah Karstetter and Maitland Dilley secured a win at the state level recently with a presentation which focused on everyday hygiene and wellness. The trio were featured in an earlier edition of The Express after providing these presentations to elementary students within the Keystone Central School District.
With a win at the state level secured, the group will now compete at nationals in Atlanta, Ga. this summer.
According to Carnahan, the trio has stayed busy with their goal in promoting healthy habits. “After states, we presented at the Busy Bees daycare, and we purchased additional hygiene and self care supplies to donate to the care closets within our school district, as well as the local women’s shelter,” she stated.
