Reunion

The Schenck Reunion will take place on Saturday, Aug. 6, in Schencks Grove at Bald Eagle State Park, Howard. Lunch is at noon followed by a business meeting and games at 2 p.m. Music will be provided by the Lomisons and Friends.

Cash Bingo Events

Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs. Bingo will be held on June 22 and June 29.

KBR Bingo and More holds Bingo every Tuesday night at the Piper Airport Museum’s 3rd floor, Lock Haven. Early Bird game at 6:15 p.m., and regular Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

KBR Bingo’s Friday night Straight Bingo will resume in September. The Friday night Bingo’s are not being held during the summer months. Call Mike Toner at 570-786-1343 or Deb at 570-660-2647 for more info on KBR Bingo programs.

Class of 1955

The LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1955 will meet for their monthly luncheon at noon on Wednesday, June 24, at the Waltz Inn in Salladasburg. Please note the change of venue! Classmates and friends are invited to attend.

Community Summer Meal Program

SVRCS will again be offering FREE meals for children 0-18 years of age (and up to 21 years for special needs students) for the summer months. Starting Thursday, June 25, – Thursday, July 30, SVRCS will be open from 1 – 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays only for families to pick up packages which will include three breakfasts and three lunches per child. This is not based on financial need. Everyone is welcome. We welcome parents/guardians/grandparents to call for their child’s meals! We ask for you to RSVP to djeffries@svrcs.org or 570-367-1351 so that we can plan accordingly, however no one will be turned away.

Medical Equipment

Howard Area Lions Club offers medical equipment to people who need it, free of charge. Perhaps you’re in need of a cane, crutches, a walker, shower chair, a bedside potty or even a hospital bed, give the Lions a call. Or, if you have medical equipment in good condition that you can donate to the Lions for others to use please call a Lion today!
