Press Forward Pennsylvania Wilds is offering residents the opportunity to provide critical information about how you consume your news through the following survey: tinyurl.com/PFPAWilds. It works across the nine counties in the PA Wilds region and has partnered with Branchhead Consulting and the Lenfest Institute for Journalism for this research. Country Jam

The Back Porch String Band’s Country Jam will be held on Sunday, June 28, from 2-6 p.m., at the Yearick Center/Howard fire hall. Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday afternoon of each month except in December. The afternoon of music is free, and those attending should bring a snack to share with others there. A hat is passed for you to contribute a few dollars to thank the Howard Fire Company for allowing the folks to gather there for Country Jam each month.

Merrill Reunion

Arthur and Henrietta Merrill Reunion will be held on Aug. 15, at Woolrich Park, Pavilion #3. Lunch will begin at noon. Please bring a covered dish to share and, if possible, an item wrapped to be in the family auction.

Concerts in Lamar

Lamar Lighthouse Camp’s Summer Concert Series will feature a free concert each Sunday evening beginning at 6 p.m. at the campground. The Needhams will perform on June 21, followed by Williamson Branch on June 28. The public is invited to attend. A love offering is taken during the evening. LLC is located along Route 64 near Lamar.
