Summer
Library
Program
Porter Township Community Library will be having their Summer Library program on Tuesdays in June, (June 23 and 30) from 9-11 a.m., at the library. The June 30 session will be a picnic held at Recreation Park. Stories, activities, crafts, games, snacks and book selections will be provided with a guest reader each week. Nominations
Dogwood Circle Garden Club will be accepting nominations for their July Garden of the Month winner. Submit your nomination by Facebook or by calling one of the judges. July's garden judges are JoAnn (570-367-9658) and Bonnie (570-660-4002).

60th Reunion

Walk with Me Centre County
Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania will host its sixth annual "Walk with Me Centre County" at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Penn's Prairie Park, 2400 Upper Brush Valley Road. The community is invited to walk, stroll or wheel a one-mile course in support of individuals living with disabilities. Proceeds benefit Easterseals programs, including services at its Child Development Center in State College. Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
Blood drives will be held as follows:
June 22, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Willowbank Building, Holmes St., Bellefonte.
June 22, from 1-5:30 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church, Lock Haven.
June 25, from 12:30-6 p.m., at Centre Church in Pleasant Gap
June 30, from 12-5:30 p.m., at Watermarke Church, Zion Road, Bellefonte
June 30, from 12-4:30 p.m., at Lock Haven's Best Western Hotel
July 6, from 1-6 p.m., at Tri County N/C Church, Main St., Mill Hall.
