KBR Bingos
KBR Bingo and More will not be holding their Friday night Bingo during the summer months.
The Friday night Bingos will resume in September
In the meantime, you’re welcome to join players on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. for special benefit Bingos to help individuals and groups in our community.
On June 27, a benefit Bingo will be held to help Skylin Johnson, a young girl who has had brain surgeries. The benefit will help her family with travel expenses, medical needs and more!
On July 11, a benefit Bingo will be held to help to pay the funeral expenses of the three family members who died from injuries in a car accident near Howard on Christmas day.

Summer
Concerts in Lemont
Lemont Village Green will have their free Summer Concerts on the Green, 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont. The concerts will be held each Friday evening, from 7:30-9 p.m. The concert on Friday, June 26, will feature the Nittany Valley Wranglers. On Friday, July 3, Mark Brogdon, Catman Dude, will be performing. Scout Troop 367 will sell ice cream cones each week for a donation to the troop. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort!
1st Ward Reunion
1st Ward Reunion to be held Sunday, July 12, at the Castanea picnic grounds. The event starts at 1 p.m. and dinner will be at 2 p.m. Bring a covered dish to share. For questions, call 570-367-0047. Rain or shine.
Class of 1964
The LHHS and ICHS of 1964 will meet for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, June 25, at 1 p.m., at the Shore Diner. All class members and friends are invited. Call Donna Barton at 570-748-6821 to make your reservations.
Blood Drive
St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a Red Cross Blood Drive, at the church, on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Walk-ins are welcome, or you may schedule an appointment on the Red Cross Website at www.redcrossblood.org. St. Luke’s will be serving its world famous root beer floats.
