Helping Hands
Helping Hands will be open on Wednesday, July 15, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the Lock Haven and surrounding area. Helping Hands is usually open the third Wednesday of each month. For more information about the Helping Hands program, call Kelly at 272-209-5912.

Don’t forget about the pets! Our pets give us unconditional love and trust, and we owe them nothing less in return. In honor of your loving pets at home, please consider supporting Help for Pets, a 501c3 non-profit organization right here in Clinton County whose mission is to provide interest-free loans to pet owners to allow for urgent treatment of their pets to prevent unnecessary euthanasia. Bellefonte Gamblers Anonymous is meeting on Sundays at 7:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 216 N. McAllister St., Bellefonte.
New Hope Fellowship Room
New Hope Fellowship has a Fellowship Corner Room at its church at 6436 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall. The Fellowship Corner Room is available for your parties, receptions, showers and other small gathering events. The room will seat 60-70 comfortably and offers tables, cushioned chairs, stoves, microwaves, a refrigerator and plenty of counter space and outside parking. Monetary donations are appreciated but are not required for you to use the Fellowship Corner Room. Contact New Hope Fellowship at 570-755-1450 for info.
Donations needed
Roads to Peace is in need of: toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, 12 gallon garbage bags, hand and dish soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, razors, shaving cream, face wash, deodorant, gently used cutlery, pots/pans, bottled water, juice boxes, easy to prepare meals and snacks, dish sets and unused bedding. Outdoor toys for children, such as balls, sidewalk chalk and bubbles are also needed for the summer months of play.
