HOWARD — Faith Chapel’s Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will be open on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in conjunction with the annual Roger White Fun Fair being held at the church. Gently used, good quality clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family are available. Sizes range from infants to 3X and are priced at $5 per bag full. Bags will be provided.

Bargains and Blessings Community Closet is an outreach ministry of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church that serves Beech Creek, Blanchard, Howard and the surrounding areas. All proceeds go back into the community to help families in need or local charitable organizations.

Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will also be open on the following dates:

— Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Runville UMC, 1216 Runville Road, Bellefonte.

— Saturday, Aug. 8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Friendship Community Center, Beech Creek; Saturday.

— Sept. 12, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at Advanced Family Chiropractic in Mill Hall, weather permitting.

— Saturday, Oct. 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at Faith Chapel UMC.

The Roger A. White Fun Fair and Silent Auction is also planned for July 18 at Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, 551 Hunter Run Road, Howard. Games, activities and good food will be enjoyed during the Fun Fair which will be held rain or shine. Special guests will include balloon artist Devin Christian as well as the environmentalists from Bald Eagle State Park. A jello eating contest starts at 1 p.m. with registration shortly beforehand. The day-long Silent Auction with fabulous donated items will end at 2 p.m. with winners promptly announced. There will be lots of baked goods, food and games for the entire family, including a Moon Bounce.

50% of the proceeds from the Fun Fair are designated for Camp Victory. Camp Victory in Millville, Pa., creates a fun, safe camping experience for children, families and individuals facing a variety of medical and life challenges.
