Monday, June 8
— Cash Bingo will be held at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, to benefit the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus. Doors will be open to the public for food, plenty of homemade baked goods and dinner items, and small games of chance at 6 p.m., with Bingo starting at 7 p.m. The cost to play is $20 for 20 games, and the payouts will be $850 each month. The school is a smoke-free facility and walk-ins are welcome to come to play Bingo.
— Vacation Bible School, 6:30-8 p.m., at Marsh Creek BIC Church, 417 Summit Hill Road, Howard. VBS will include songs, crafts, snacks, Bible lessons and an offering contest between the boys and the girls. All children (and their parents) are invited. Call Pastor Dan at 814-625-3544 for more info.
— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.
Tuesday, June 9
— Porter Township Community Library will be having their Summer Library program on Tuesdays in June, from 9-11 a.m., at the library. The June 30 session will be a picnic held at Recreation Park. Stories, activities, crafts, games, snacks and book selections will be provided with a guest reader each week. For info contact Jane at 570-660-8007.

— Clinton County Genealogical Society Meeting at 7 p.m. Nancy McCurdy of the Lycoming County Genealogical Society will present DNA results: How they relate to your genealogy and how to use them in your research. Nancy requests that your questions be sent to her prior to the meeting if possible. Please email any questions to ccgensoc.1998@gmail.com. Presentations are open to the public and you do not need to be a member to attend. Meeting and presentation will take place at the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., Lock Haven.
— The Alzheimer’s Support Group of Clinton County will meet at 7 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Jeff Bayliff of “Hear the Birds Sing” Hearing Aid Center in Lock Haven will be the guest speaker. His presentation will be on “Hearing Loss and Dementia.”

— The 9th Annual Jersey Shore Legion Riders Golf Outing will be held on Friday, June 19, at the Clinton County Club in Mill Hall. Registration is at 8 a.m. and Tee off is a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Preregistration should be completed before June 9. Cost is $100 per person that includes 18-holes of golf, riding cart, dinner and a chance to win various prizes. — Flag Disposal Ceremony, 6 p.m., at the 40&8 Club, 1098 Renovo Road, Lock Haven. Flags should be dropped off before 5 p.m. The public is invited to witness the respectful and proper disposal of torn and tattered American flags.

— Fairview Church is having a Mega Yard Sale at Pastor Dave and Sabrina Etters’ house along Route 150 between Howard and Milesburg, directly across from the Twin Kiss Restaurant. Sale runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 814-355-2815 for info. Rain dates for sale are June 18-20.
— Pleasant Gap Fire Company’s flea market will be held each Thursday through Aug. 20. The flea market will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food, produce, antiques, collectibles, crafts and more will be available at the flea market each week. Vendors are being sought for the weekly markets. Set up begins at 6 a.m. For a vendor spot, call Mark at 814-355-2753.
There’s also a few bonus flea markets happening on specific Sundays during the summer months. Those Sundays will be June 14, July 12 and Aug. 9.
