MONDAY

— Blood Drive, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Willowbank Building, 420 Holmes St., Bellefonte.

— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.

TUESDAY

— Porter Township Community Library will be having their Summer Library program on Tuesdays in June, from 9-11 a.m., at the library. The June 30 session will be a picnic held at Recreation Park. Stories, activities, crafts, games, snacks and book selections will be provided with a guest reader each week. For info contact Jane at 570-660-8007.

WEDNESDAY

— The LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1955 will meet for their monthly luncheon at noon at the Waltz Inn in Salladasburg. Please note the change of venue! Classmates and friends are invited to attend.

— The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy “A Historical” luncheon and program at the Flemington Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Flemington. The theme of June’s program is “A Look at our Early Days” presented by Bonnie Hannis from The Heisey Museum. There is always good food, lots of fun and door prizes. June’s gifted vocalist will be Jonie Bergey and the guest speaker will be Candi Johnson. The program begins at 11:50 a.m. The cost of $17 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child. — Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival at Centre County Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall,

3-10 p.m.

— Benefit for Raylin Gardner at Pleasant Gap American Legion. Raylin is a 13-year-old who is battling thyroid cancer. The Legion will host Wing Night for a Cause from 5-8 p.m. with funds going to help Raylin. A basket benefit is also happening and winners will be announced at 8 p.m.

THURSDAY

— Blood Drive, 12:30-6 p.m., at Centre Church in Pleasant Gap.

— Penn State Master Gardeners are ready to help us celebrate America’s 250 in beautiful flowery fashion! We will be making a grapevine wreath/basket (it can be used for either!) containing red, white and blue flowers and adorned with patriotic ribbon — a beautiful way to show your patriotism this summer! $40 will include all materials. — Pleasant Gap Lioness Yard Sale will be held at the pavilion behind the Pleasant Gap Legion, 435 S. Main St., Pleasant Gap, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be something for everyone! Most items aren’t priced; make a fair value donation. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

— Pleasant Gap Fire Company’s flea market will be held each Thursday through Aug. 20. The flea market will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food, produce, antiques, collectibles, crafts and more will be available at the flea market each week. Vendors are being sought for the weekly markets. Set up begins at 6 a.m. For a vendor spot, call Mark at 814-355-2753.

There’s also a few bonus flea markets happening on specific Sundays during the summer months. Those Sundays will be July 12 and Aug. 9. The flea markets will be held at the Pleasant Gap Fire Company’s carnival grounds, 475 Robinson Lane, Pleasant Gap, Pa.

— Milesburg Lions Bingo every Thursday night at the Milesburg Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.

FRIDAY

— Pleasant Gap Lioness Yard Sale will be held at the pavilion behind the Pleasant Gap Legion, 435 S. Main St., Pleasant Gap, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be something for everyone! Most items aren’t priced; make a fair value donation. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

— Join the park naturalist at Hyner Run State Park at 3:30 p.m. to learn about and to explore some of the rocks found at Hyner Run State Park. There will also be a craft. The program will take about one hour. Meet beside the pool.

— Join the park naturalist at Hyner Run State Park at 8:30 p.m. for a program about bats. This program will be focusing on some of the bats’ adaptations, some myths about bats and a fungus that is threatening their population. There will also be a bat count, weather permitting. Meet at the amphitheater by the pool.

— Titan Market, indoors at the former Cerro building, Axeman Road, Bellefonte, will be open every Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (put in more weeks ahead and look for special events.)

— Lemont’s Summer Concert on the Village Green will be held beginning at 7:30 p.m. This week the concert will feature the Nittany Valley Wranglers. Scout Troop 367 will provide ice cream cones for a donation to their troop. Bring a blanket or lawn chair! For more info visit www.lemontvillage.org.

— St. Mark Lutheran Church’s Summer Outdoor Concert series returns, with musicians playing under the pavilion at St. Mark, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard. Singer/songwriter Mike Weyrauch play popular and praise music beginning at 6:30 p.m. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with food and the fire pit started to roast hot dogs, Smores and more. You are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket, food to share if you like and are able and to just enjoy some music and time with those of our community. If there is rain, the concert will be moved indoors.

The other summer concerts this year are Woody Wolfe, Jr. returning to St. Mark on July 17 and Fishers of Men, who are performing for the first time at St. Mark on Aug. 14.

— KBR Bingo will host a benefit Bingo for Skylin Johnson, a young gal who has had brain surgeries. The benefit will help her family with travel expenses, medical needs and more!

— LHHS Class of 1961 will have a picnic at Riverview Park, along the Farrandsville Road, Lock Haven, from 1-5 p.m. All classmates and their guests are invited. Snacks will be provided. Call Carol Coakley at 570-962-2265 for details.

— Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania will host its sixth annual “Walk with Me Centre County” 9 a.m. at Penn’s Prairie Park, 2400 Upper Brush Valley Road. The community is invited to walk, stroll or wheel a one-mile course in support of individuals living with disabilities. Proceeds benefit Easterseals programs, including services at its Child Development Center in State College. SUNDAY

— Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival winds down at Centre County Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall. From 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be an Open Gospel Sing, church service and gospel show led by the Billy Lee Cox Project.

— Curtin Village will have an Ownership Celebration Day at 1 p.m. Join friends and dignitaries in celebration of the Roland Curtin Foundation’s ownership of Curtin Village. This milestone marks a new chapter in preserving the site’s history. The 1 p.m. program will be followed by a reception. A guided tour of the property will begin at 2 p.m. Come for the celebration, stay for the tour or just come for the guided tour on this special day honoring the site and the people who will keep Curtin Village thriving.

There is no admission or tour fee for this event. Donations are appreciated and directly support preservation and programming at Eagle Iron Works and Curtin Village. — Puzzle Wwap and casual puzzling event from 1-3 p.m. at Schlow Centre Region Library. Make some new puzzle friends and refresh your selection of puzzles! For the swap, please bag your pieces and/or tape your puzzle box. Leave a puzzle on the table and take as many as you brought.

— Lamar Lighthouse Camp’s Summer Concert Series featuring Williamson Branch at 6 p.m. The concert is free with a love offering taken during the service.
