Registration is now open for the Clinton County SPCA's annual Furry 5K and 1 Mile Dog Jog on Aug. 1 at the Castanea Fire Co. Picnic Grounds. Runners are encouraged to bring along their dogs to participate in the 5K or the 1 Mile Dog Jog. Caricature Artist, Sam Saxton, will be at the event this year creating humorous portraits of the runners and their dogs. There will also be a basket raffle. Participants will receive a free race T-shirt if they register before July 1.
