There is still time to enjoy the 2026 Flags of Honor display, which will remain in Triangle Park through Flag Day this Sunday. The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven will remove the display on Tuesday, June 16. The club thanks everyone who sponsored a flag, became a corporate sponsor or partnered with the club for the project. At the public ceremony held May 24 are, from left, Rotarians Tom Darby, Wendy Doherty, Nate Akeley, Carmen Banfill, Janine Bruno, Rotary District Governor Dawn Linn who spoke during the ceremony, speaker Rick Vilello who is the state Department of Community and Economic Development’s deputy secretary for community affairs and development, Downtown Rotary President Lisa Schropp, and Rotarians Heather Lively, Diahann Claghorn, Cathy Ballat and Marianne Lotfi.
