YARD SALES

If your town, community or housing development is having yard sales please let me know. Individual yard sales will not be listed, only specific towns or communities. If you put up signs to advertise your yard sales please remember to go back and take them down.

— Fairview Church will have a Mega Yard Sale at the home of Pastor Dave and Sabrina Etters on June 11-13. Thursday and Friday the sale hours will be from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Payment is by donation to the church. The Etters’ live along Route 150 directly across the highway from the Twin Kiss Restaurant between Howard and Milesburg. Rain dates will be the next week, June 18-20.

Sabrina told me that donations have been coming in steady over the last several weeks, so much has been donated that their basement and their garage are full and she’s running out of room to store things. There will definitely be “treasures” for everyone. Call 814-355-2815 for more info. The church will also be holding another yard sale on Sept. 17-18-19. The money raised will go directly to the Fairview Church.

— Unionville yard sales will also be held June 11-13, Thursday through Saturday, this year.

— Blanchard and Beech Creek Yard Sales will be Friday and Saturday, June 12 and June 13.

The Friendship Community Center will be open on these days selling food and drinks as well as for those who’d like to get a table to set up their yard sale indoors. You won’t have to worry about rain and you’ll be cool and comfortable. Call Pam at 570-295-9592 to reserve your table.
