JERSEY SHORE — Danielle E. Miller, daughter of Kara and Joe Miller, of Jersey Shore, has been selected as the June Business and Professional Women Student of the Month.

Danielle has been actively involved in Key Club, soccer, softball, bocce, Red Cross, National English Honor Society, Math Honor Society and National Honor Society throughout high school. She served as softball team captain during her junior year.

Athletically, Danielle has excelled in softball. She was named Offensive MVP during her sophomore year, Team MVP during her junior year and earned Second Team All-State honors as a shortstop during both her sophomore and junior seasons.

Outside of school, Danielle has worked part-time at the Mountaineer Lounge and provides hitting lessons to younger softball players. She has volunteered by helping repaint rooms at the women’s shelter and co-led a holiday food drive to support the Love Center.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys softball, hunting and spending time with family and friends. After graduation, she plans to continue both her academic and athletic career at the collegiate level, majoring in Kinesiology.
