Helping Hands

Helping Hands will NOT be open on Wednesday, July 15, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the Lock Haven and surrounding area. Helping Hands is usually open the third Wednesday of each month except in July. Helping Hands will be open on Aug. 19. St John’s UCC of Tylersville, 3782 Narrows Road, Loganton, will be having a large church yard sale on July 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on July 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There’s something for everyone! No early shopping or sales will be allowed.

St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. No documentation is required.
