Concerts in

Lemont

Lemont Village Green will have their free Summer Concerts on the Green, 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont. The concerts will be held each Friday evening, from 7:30-9 p.m. On Friday, July 10, the concert will feature Free Range. On July 17 Urban Fusion will take the stage. Scout Troop 367 will sell ice cream cones each week for a donation to the troop. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort!

Garman

Blueberry

Festival

The Garman Lutheran Church’s Blueberry Festival will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 1779 Sulphur Run Road, Pine Creek Township. Join us for lunch, and stay for the goodies afterward. Lunch will include sandwich platters and delicious desserts of pies, sundaes and cobblers. There will be a Trash to Treasure, Raffle Baskets and Baked Goods available. The basket raffle winners will be drawn at 2 p.m. Winners need not be present to win!

Blood Drive

St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a Red Cross Blood Drive, at the church, on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The drive will be between 11:30 and 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, or you may schedule an appointment on the Red Cross Website at www.redcrossblood.org. St. Luke’s will be serving its world famous root beer floats.

Cash Bingo Events

Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs. Bingo will be held on July 13, 20 and 27.

KBR Bingo and More holds Bingo every Tuesday night at the Piper Airport Museum’s 3rd floor, Lock Haven. Early Bird game at 6:15 p.m., and regular Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

KBR Bingo’s Friday night Straight Bingo will resume in September. The Friday night Bingo’s are not being held during the summer months. Call Mike Toner at 570-786-1343 or Deb at 570-660-2647 for more info on KBR Bingo programs.
